The short version

We collect what you type into our quote form — your name, phone number, the type of work you need, and whatever you tell us about the problem. We use it to call you back about that job. We don't sell it, and we don't send marketing email you didn't ask for.

The rest of this page is the detail behind that, including your rights under California law.

Who we are

Superior Plumbing Services is a plumbing contractor operating in Orange County, California (CSLB License #690053). This policy covers ocsuperiorplumbing.com only. It does not cover Google, Yelp, or any other site we link to — those have their own policies.

What we collect

Information you give us

Our quote form asks for four things. Name and phone number are required because we cannot call you back without them. Service type and a description of the issue are optional but help us quote accurately.

• Full name — so we know who we are calling
• Phone number — how we reach you about the job
• Service type — chosen from a menu, or “Other”
• Description of the issue — free text, whatever you choose to write

The form also contains a hidden field that real people never see or fill in. It exists to catch automated spam, and anything submitted in it is discarded.

Please don't include sensitive information in the description — payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or medical details. We don't need any of it to quote a plumbing job.

Information collected automatically

Our host keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, the page requested, and a timestamp. These are used to keep the site running and to defend against abuse.

What we do not collect

We don't ask for payment information on this website. We have no accounts and no logins, so there is nothing to sign up for and no password to lose. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Cookies and analytics

As of August 10, 2026, this site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. No analytics, tag manager, or call-tracking service is currently active. The site ships Google Consent Mode with every category — analytics, advertising, personalisation — defaulted to denied.

If we turn on analytics or call tracking later, we will update this page and the effective date above before doing so, and consent will still default to denied until you choose otherwise.

How we use your information

• To respond to your quote request and schedule work
• To contact you about a job already in progress
• To keep records of work performed, as a licensed contractor
• To keep the website secure and working

We do not use what you submit for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only with the service providers below, who process it on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:

• Resend — Email delivery. Delivers your quote request to our inbox. Receives the name, phone number, service type, and description you submit. Privacy policy
• Vercel — Website hosting. Serves this website. Keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and browser user-agent strings, for security and reliability. Privacy policy

We may also disclose information where the law requires it — a subpoena, court order, or lawful government request — or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.

How long we keep it

Quote requests arrive as email in our inbox and are retained as business records. Where a request leads to work performed, we keep the associated records for the period California law requires of licensed contractors. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see below.

Your California privacy rights

The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives California residents specific rights. You have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected about you, and where it came from
• Delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions
• Correct personal information you believe is inaccurate
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do neither, so there is nothing to opt out of
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect any
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not refuse service, change our pricing, or give you a lower level of service.

We may need to verify your identity before acting — usually by confirming the phone number you originally gave us. We will respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need longer. You may use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — but we don't collect payment details here, which keeps the stakes low.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes — new categories of information, or a new purpose for using it — will be described here rather than made quietly.
