Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Superior Plumbing Services wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology. Booking a plumber shouldn't depend on how you use a computer.

Where we stand

We are working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our standard.

We have not yet completed an independent accessibility audit, so we don't claim to fully conform to that standard today. We would rather tell you that plainly than publish a conformance claim we haven't verified. An audit is planned, and we will update this page with its date and findings when it is done — including anything it turns up that we haven't fixed yet.

What we have built in

These measures were part of building the site, and were checked during development:

• A “skip to main content” link as the first item on every page
• Semantic HTML headings and landmark regions, so screen readers can navigate structurally
• Every form field has a visible, properly associated label
• Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements
• Interactive targets sized to at least 44×44 pixels
• Text and background colour combinations checked for AA contrast
• Animation is reduced or removed when your device requests reduced motion
• The site works at increased zoom and on small screens without loss of content
• Images carry alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology

Known limitations

Being straight about the gaps we are aware of:

• No independent audit yet. Our checks were made by the people who built the site, which is not a substitute for outside testing.
• Limited assistive-technology testing. We have not yet completed a structured pass with every major screen reader and browser combination.
• Third-party content. Pages that link out to Google or Yelp rely on those services' own accessibility, which we don't control.

You never have to use this website to reach us. Call (714) 744-8045 during business hours (Mon–Fri 8am–5pm · Sat 8am–11am · Closed Sunday) and a person will take your information directly. Anything the website can do, the phone can do.

Ongoing work

Accessibility isn't a box we tick once. As we add features and content we will keep testing, and we will keep this page current with where things actually stand.
